By plane
You can take a flight from Helsinki to Kuopio. Kuopio airport is located 30 min from the city center.
You can take a taxi to get from the airport to city center.
Taxi: 0200 111 01 (Taksiykköset). Taxi can be also ordered by using Book a taxi app available in Google and App stores.
Taxi: 0100 0700 (VieVie). This taxi can also be booked with an app (0100 0700 app).
The local bus (route number 40) operates between the airport (=lentokenttä) and city center (tori = market place) from Mondays to Fridays between 06.00-19.30. Please note that in buses you can only pay with cash or with Vilkku app available in Google and App stores.
